Launch Event – Success!

The Cambridge University Consulting Society has grown prodigiously fast to around 350 members since it was founded two months ago – and is still growing every week.

The official launch took place on Monday 16 November at the Judge Business School in front of a packed lecture theatre, suggesting that before CUCS was set-up, there was an absence of a forum for people interested in consultancy at Cambridge.

Feedback from the Launch was extremely positive, singling out the hands-on practical advice on how to get in and stay in consulting given by invited guest speakers. Networking was fun and judging by the 40 plus people who then signed up for the follow-up event, CUCS’s case study workshop on Monday 16 November (sign up if you haven’t yet!), CUCS is fast becoming an unmissable feature on the Cambridge business society landscape.

Launch Event – There’s a New Society in Town

The date of the grand launch of the Cambridge University Consulting Society has been confirmed.  This landmark event will take place on the 16^th November, so make sure you keep the date free.  This is a great opportunity to find out about the society, the exciting events we have planned over the academic year and there will be the chance to network – over free drinks of course.  So far, we have talks by our presidents, other committee members, our senior treasurer and our sponsor, Advanced Management Skills, plus much more!  One of the main events of the evening will be the ‘Guide to Consulting’ lecture, not to be missed if you are looking for a career in Management Consulting.  We are looking forward to meeting so many of our members and hearing any suggestions you have for the society so come on down and make sure you are a part of the exciting launch of the Cambridge University Consulting Society.
