About Us

Cambridge University Consulting Society is a new and exciting society for all students interested in learning more about consulting. We hope to offer students a friendly and warm environment to find out about what consulting  offers as a career path. This will be achieved by hosting a number of events throughout the year designed by students for students.

Our Mission

1. Educate members about consulting and different types of consulting they should consider; provided by evening lecture sessions on internal, external, strategy, operations, financial, environmental, public sector and recruitment Consultancy.
2. Help our members with their interview preparation: provided by intensive case study practice sessions with MBA and recruiters.
3. Opportunity to develop and showcase their business skills necessary for consulting (and even other general business roles); provided by business skills sessions and an extended case study competition.

Our Events

We bring in great speakers from leading consulting companies and the business school to tell you about career and training opportunities. We also organise case study groups that help you getting ready for case interviews that make or break the start of your career in consulting. In the Lent term, we organise consulting lectures on Strategy and Technology Consulting and “Business lectures” on finance, marketing, economic and operations. All the events are topped off a networking session where you can mix with professionals from the consulting world and ask any questions you may have.
